Project Sama

Biography

Hugo Siclier (Project Sama)

Hugo Siclier is a multifaceted musician, composer and artist exploring the boundaries between acoustic and electronic music. His creative practice stands out through a dialogue between the clarinet and electronics, IDM and experimental music, weaving rich, hybrid sonic textures.

Under the pseudonym Project Sama, he released his first EP, Cathedral, in 2025. The result of three years of research and experimentation, the project places his clarinet at the heart of an electronic universe blending sound poetry, immersive rhythms and contrasting atmospheres.

Hugo Siclier continues to share his music through live performances — at Plateforme 10, for the Fribourg Chamber of Commerce, at the Murten Light Festival and for the Dies Academicus of the University of Lausanne — establishing himself as an emerging artist of contemporary Swiss music.

Alongside music, Hugo Siclier devotes himself to visual art with a passion for photography, seeking to capture the atmospheres encountered during his travels.

Hugo Siclier is also a photographer in his spare time. Just like with music, he seeks to capture the atmosphere of the places he visits.
